According to MIT, the following are subscribing members to the Open Course Ware Consortium. So far, there are 250 universities participating in this consortium. Their goal is to advance education by sharing high quality education materials categorized in college courses. African Virtual University You need to register to access the online courses. It focuses on the challenges to the world's health and what the Department feels are a "must" so that the public can make informed decisions on possible solutions to the world health problems. University of California, Irvine UC has business and management courses, education, a couple of engineering courses, Health Sciences (4 courses), Humanities (4 courses), computer sciences (3 courses), physical sciences, and many social sciences. University of Michigan The university courses in the University of Michigan Open Course websites includes general physics, architecture, dentistry (3 courses), reading instruction in elementary, chemical engineering. It contains an abundance of college courses in the graduate level in information system courses and medicine. The most popular open course ware and the most extensive is the OCW portal of Massachusett Institute of Technology
